Places to visit

There are so many good places to visit in Gloucestershire but I can recommend Tewkesbury Abbey www.tewkesburyabbey.org.uk.

The Cotswolds

The Cotswolds are always very attractive with places such as;

Hidcote
Croome Court
Kiftsgate Garden
Snowshill Manor

Just over the border into Herefordshire, Westons Cider is a good day out and just down the road the Three Choirs Vineyard and excellent restaurant.

Other good places to eat are The Butchers arms at Eldersfield, sourcing all local food and The Swan at Coombe Hill.

The White Hart Inn at Wichcombe (The wine and sausage) also locally sourced foods and great atmosphere.

Corse Lawn House Hotel Bistro is also good with a wide range of food on the menu.

The Red Lion at Wainlode offers fresh home-cooked food and a great selection of ciders, lagers and cask conditioned beer.
