Birds Nest Cottage

Set in the historic Saxon village of Deerhurst on the banks of the River Severn, Birds Nest Cottage was part of a former stable block dating back 300 years – now thoughtfully restored and converted to a two bedroomed cottage.

Birds Nest Cottage provides modern living with an open plan ground floor and two ensuite bedrooms upstairs – all the floors are oak throughout, and the cottage is heated with under floor heating with a thermostat in each room to adjust the temperature.

Downstairs

The downstairs comprises of an open plan living and eating area with a fully equipped kitchen, including dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge and freezer, cooker and hob, microwave and toaster.

The living area has two large sofas and we now have Superfast Broadband with excellent Wifi and a smart TV. There is a DVD and Stereo available.

Upstairs

The wooden staircase leads up to two en suite bedrooms. Bedroom 1 is a large room with a King Size bed and a French windows looking over the courtyard to the fields beyond.

Both bedrooms have TV’s, hairdryers and wardrobes, extra blankets and pillows are also available. Towels and bed linen are provided.

Bedroom 2

Bedroom 2 is a twin bedded room, with an en-suite shower room, including toilet and sink.

For small children a travel cot and high chair are available on request.

Relaxing

There is a large seating area outside the cottage, which has comfortable outdoor table and chairs in which to relax and has lighting for those balmy summer evenings.

Four legs

Dogs are accepted, but by arrangement please.
